Active IQ Accreditation

Stretch & Play have been working hard to gain Active IQ accreditation for their adult teacher training and from Spring 2009 we will be offering the Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Physical Activity to Children.

This course is designed for:

• Those wishing to pursue a career in the health & fitness sector, a community setting or in schools as teachers of children's physical activity.
• Fitness Instructors who are seeking to develop their qualifications.

The course covers the following subjects:

• Introduction to Anatomy & Physiology
• Preparing a Physical Activity Session for Children
• Teaching a Physical Activity Session for Children
• Concluding & Reviewing a Physical Activity Session for Children
• Introduction to Working with Children
